Full 18th century set consisting of shift, stays, pockets, bum roll, petticoat, outer petticoat, jacket, stomacher and apron, as seen in the first season of Outlander. The outer layer is made of a medium weight beige linen and lined with linen. A linen shift is worn with stays made of white coutil and synthetic whalebone boning. The apron is made of linen and chiffon to mimic the look of antique silk taffeta with tea dyed and handstitched floral lace detailing.
For this costume, I also styled the wig based on the braided updo as seen in episode “Lallybroch”.
